Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Deposit Policy All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This deposit is applied toward your final service total. Appointments are not confirmed until payment is received. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 23 and 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of 25% of the service total. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the service total. This policy is in place to protect reserved appointment times and maintain a seamless experience for all clients. 3. Late Arrivals A grace period of 10–15 minutes is provided. Arrivals beyond this window may result in a shortened service or cancellation, depending on the schedule, with the deposit retained. 4. No-Show Policy Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a full forfeiture of your deposit and may require full payment for future bookings. 5. Consultation & Service Agreement By booking, you acknowledge that all services are based on the information provided during your consultation and booking form. Results may vary based on hair type, density, and maintenance. 6. Client Health Disclosure Clients are required to disclose any allergies, scalp conditions, or medical concerns prior to service. Braids By Vey is not responsible for reactions or complications resulting from undisclosed conditions. 7. Hair & Preparation Requirements Clients are expected to arrive with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise stated. Failure to meet preparation requirements may result in rescheduling. 8. Right to Refuse Service Braids By Vey reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time if conditions are unsafe, inappropriate, or if policies are not respected. 9. Content & Photography Braids By Vey reserves the right to photograph and/or video completed styles for portfolio, marketing, and social media use unless otherwise requested in writing prior to service. 10. Agreement By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions outlined above.
